Brother IntelliFax 1860C config page

To print out a user settings list from the IntelliFax 1860C:

- Press the Menu button.
- Press 4 on the keypad for "Print Reports."
- Press 5 for "User Settings."
- Press Start.

Xerox Workcentre 5665 page count

To view the page count for a Workcentre 5665, simply press the Machine Status button (to the right of the touch screen).  The page count ("Total Impressions") will be displayed in the lower left corner of the screen.

To print a configuration page on a Workcentre 5665 copier:

- Press the Machine Status button.
- On the copier's display screen, touch the square icon next to Print Reports.
- Touch the circular icon next to Print System Configuration Report.

The configuration report will print out.  Note that this report does not contain the copier's page count; for instructions on viewing the page count, click here.

HP 920 Fax

To view the configuration settings for an HP 920 Fax, you can print out a menu settings report by following these steps:

- Press Menu.
- Press 3 for "Print Report."
- Press 4 for "Menu Settings."

The screen will display "Printing Report" and the menu settings report will print out.

Oce VarioPrint 1105 page count

To see the total page count for the VarioPrint 1105, press the Utility/Counter button on the copier's operation panel.  The total page count will be displayed on the screen, as well as breakdowns of individual counters (Feed, Copier, Printer, Scanner, etc.).

Toshiba e-STUDIO 2830c page count

To view the total page count on an e-STUDIO 2830c, press the Counter button on the copier's operation panel.  "Print Counter:" will be displayed in the middle of the screen, followed by the number of pages printed out.

The process for printing a configuration page from the LaserJet 2430 is similar to many other HP models:

- If the printer is sleeping and the screen is dim, press the Select button (the green button with the check mark on it) to wake the printer up.  (If the printer is at the ready -- the screen will be bright and "Ready" will be displayed -- skip this step.)
- Press Select to bring up the printer's menu.
- Use the down arrow to scroll through the menu until INFORMATION is displayed on the screen.
- Press Select.
- Scroll down until PRINT CONFIGURATION is displayed.
- Press Select.

HP LaserJet 5000 / 5100 configuration page

 To print a configuration page from the LaserJet 5000, 5100, or other 5000 series printer:

- Press down on the right side of the Menu button to bring up the printer's menu.
- Keep pressing Menu until INFORMATION is displayed on the screen.
- Press down on the right side of the Item button to select the Information sub-menu.
- Keep pressing Item until PRINT CONFIGURATION is displayed.
- Press Select.

Fiery

Many printers, especially in production or graphics environments, use Fiery print controllers for better control and performance.  If a Fiery controller is installed on a printer, it will often supersede some of the printer's own internal software, such as the ability to print out a configuration page.  For instructions on printing a configuration page from a printer with a Fiery controller installed on it, click on the link for the appropriate Fiery model below.

Fiery E-7000

To print a configuration page from a copier or printer with the Fiery E-7000 installed on it, follow these steps:

- Go into the Fiery main menu (typically by touching the Fiery button on the copier or printer, but this may vary by model).
- Touch Main Menu/Cancel.
- Touch the arrow button next to Print Pages.
- Touch the arrow button next to Configuration.

Fiery E-5100

To print a configuration page from a printer with the Fiery E-5100 installed:

- Go to the Fiery menu on the copier or printer (typically there will be a Fiery button on the operation panel).
- When the Fiery main menu comes up, touch the Fiery tab (with the Fiery logo) along the top of the screen.
- Touch Printable Info.
- Touch Configuration.
- Touch OK.

Muratec

Muratec copiers, printers, and fax machines will let you print out a user settings list or machine settings list, but the contents of this page will vary by machine.  Click on the appropriate link below for the model that you want instructions for.

- Press the Menu button.
- Scroll down until "5 Print" is displayed.

Gestetner config pages

Gestetner copiers and printers are virtually the same as Ricoh copiers and printers -- they're just branded differently.  For example, a Gestetner DSm416pf is comparable to a Ricoh Aficio MP 161SPF.  If you know the Ricoh counterpart's model number, you can find the configuration page instructions.  If you don't know the Ricoh model number, you can easily look it up online.

Lanier config pages

Lanier copiers and printers are virtually the same as Ricoh copiers and printers -- they're just branded differently.  For example, a Lanier LD016SPF is comparable to a Ricoh Aficio MP 161SPF.  If you know the Ricoh counterpart's model number, you can find the configuration page instructions.  If you don't know the Ricoh model number, you can easily look it up online.

Savin config pages

Savin copiers and printers are virtually the same as Ricoh copiers and printers -- they're just branded differently.  For example, a Savin 816mf is comparable to a Ricoh Aficio MP 161SPF.  If you know the Ricoh counterpart's model number, you can find the configuration page instructions.  If you don't know the Ricoh model number, you can easily look it up online.

HP printer usage pages

On some HP printers, you won't have the option to print a configuration page.  For these printers, you'll often have to print a usage page instead to find the printer's page count.  Other printers will let you print either a configuration page or usage page -- the config page will give more information, but the usage page is shorter, so if you only want the page count, you can save ink (and paper) by printing the usage page instead.  But be aware that the page count listed on the usage page can be different from the page count listed on the configuration page.

HP Deskjet 5650

The configuration/self-test page that you can print from a Deskjet 5650 is very short.  It doesn't have nearly as much information as configuration pages on other printers, but it will show the printer's serial number and total page count.

To print the configuration/self-test page:

- Hold down the Power button (next to the printer's name, on the right).
- Press the Resume button (on the left side of the printer; it has a picture of a sheet of paper with a down arrow on it) four times.
- Release the Power button.

Once you let go of the Power button, the green light on the right side of the printer will flash, and the configuration page will print out.

These same steps will work for many other Deskjet models, including the 6520 and 6540.

Xerox Phaser 8560 configuration page

To print a configuration page from a Xerox Phaser 8560 printer:

- From the printer's main menu, scroll down to INFORMATION.
- Press OK.
- Scroll down to INFORMATION PAGES.
- Press OK.
- Scroll down to CONFIGURATION PAGE.
- Press OK.

Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5045 page count

To view the page count on an imageRUNNER ADVANCE C5045, press the Counter Check button on the copier's operation panel (located on the right side, above the Stop button).

To see the black & white and color page count totals on an MX-2600N or MX-3100N:

- Press the System Settings button on the copier's operation panel.
- Touch Total Count on the display screen.
- Touch Job Count.

On the MFC-8420, you can print out a user settings list that shows all the typical settings, plus the total page count, page count by function, and how much life the drum unit has left.

Kyocera KM-3035 page count

To view the page count on a Kyocera KM-3035:

- Press the Default Setting/Counter button on the copier's operation panel (above the number pad).
- On the display screen, touch Counter check.

To print a network configuration page (which shows the copier's IP address and other settings) on an AR-M317:

- Press the Custom Settings button.
- On the copier's screen, touch List Print.
- Touch Printer Test Page.

HP Color LaserJet 4730mfp configuration page

To print a configuration page from a Color LaserJet 4730mfp:

- Press the Menu button (to the right of the number pad).
- On the screen, touch Information.
- Touch Print Configuration.

The configuration page will print out, and depending on the options installed in the printer, it may be five or six pages long.  You can find the printer's page count on the first page, under Device Information.  The total page count will be listed as "Engine Cycles," and the color page count is called "Color Cycle Count."
