The process for printing a configuration page from the LaserJet 2430 is similar to many other HP models:
- If the printer is sleeping and the screen is dim, press the Select button (the green button with the check mark on it) to wake the printer up. (If the printer is at the ready -- the screen will be bright and "Ready" will be displayed -- skip this step.)
- Press Select to bring up the printer's menu.
- Use the down arrow to scroll through the menu until INFORMATION is displayed on the screen.
- Press Select.
- Scroll down until PRINT CONFIGURATION is displayed.
- Press Select.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.

There are only 3 buttons & no screen on a 2430. So doesn't apply here.
ReplyDeleteHi Mark-
ReplyDeleteI think you are thinking of a different model. The 2430 has a small screen and several buttons, including the green Select button. Here is a link to a picture of a LaserJet 2430:
