The configuration page for a Dell P1500 Personal Laser Printer includes a lot of information about the device, including total page count, toner level, serial number, paper tray settings, connection settings, firmware versions, and more.
The procedure for printing a configuration page from the P1500 user guide is as follows:
- Turn off the printer
- Open the top cover
- Press and hold down the Continue button
- Turn the printer on
- Wait for all of the lights to blink and then release the Continue button
- Close the top cover
- Press the Continue button and release it, repeating until all of the lights cycle again
However, it has been shown that on some P1500 models you can print the configuration page simply by pressing and releasing the Continue button, so you may want to try that first.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels.
