In addition to the configuration page and supplies status page, the Color LaserJet 4700 gives you the option to print out a usage page. The usage page shows the printer's total page count, like the configuration page does, but it also breaks down the page count by paper tray and paper type. To print a usage page:
- Press the down arrow to go into the main menu.
- Keep pressing the down arrow until "INFORMATION" is the highlighted option on the screen.
- Press Select (the green button with the check mark) to choose that option.
- Press the down arrow until "PRINT USAGE PAGE" is the highlighted option.
- Press Select.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
