HP Color LaserJet CP3525 supplies status page

HP Color LaserJet CP3525 printer
One nice feature of the HP Color LaserJet CP3525 series of printers is that they show you right on the display screen how much toner is left in each color cartridge.  You can walk up to the printer and see right away how much toner it has.

On other printers, you'd have to print out a supplies status page to see the toner levels.  You can still print a supplies status page from the CP3525, and you might want to at some point because in addition to the toner remaining, you'll also be able to see how much longer you have until the fuser maintenance kit needs to be replaced.  Plus, the supplies status page also gives you much more detail about the toner cartridges, including the number of pages printed since each cartridge was installed, when that cartridge was installed, and approximately how many pages more can be printed before the cartridge will need to be replaced.

Follow the steps below to print out a supplies status page on a Color LaserJet CP3525.  These instructions also apply to several black and white LaserJet models, including the P4010, P4014, P4015, and P4510.

- Press the Menu button.
- Scroll down twice (using the down arrow button) until INFORMATION is displayed.
- Press the OK button.
- Scroll down twice again until PRINT SUPPLIES STATUS PAGE is displayed.
- Press the OK button.

The supplies status page does not show the printer's total page count.  To view the page count, print a configuration page instead of the supplies status page.
