HP LaserJet Flow MFP M527 configuration page

You can get a lot of information from the configuration page (actually, pages) of an HP LaserJet Flow MFP M527 multifunction printer. It includes device information (model, serial number, firmware version, etc.), installed options, recent event log, security settings, paper tray settings, network settings (IP address, host name, etc.) and much more.

Follow the steps below to print a configuration page from an HP MFP M527.

From the Home screen:

- Swipe right (to page 2 of 3)

- Tap Reports

- Tap Configuration/Status Pages

- Tap Configuration Page

- Tap the Print icon (bottom right of the screen)

How to print a configuration report on a Sharp MX-M350N

The configuration report for a Sharp MX-M350N copier includes two pages -- one with general network settings and one with more specific details. To print the configuration report, follow the steps below.

• Press the System Settings button on the copier's operation panel (to the right of the touch screen).
• From the options displayed on the touch screen, select List Print.
• Select Printer Test Page.
• Select NIC Page to print the configuration report.  Both pages (the system status report and the configuration report) will begin printing.

The configuration report won't show the copier's page count.  If you want to see the page count, hold down the Copy button for about a second, and it will be displayed on the screen.

How to print a configuration page from an Okifax 5300

If you want to see at a glance how your Okifax 5300 fax machine is configured, you can print out a configuration page, rather than have to scroll through all of the menu settings and view them one by one.  Printing a configuration page does not use a lot of toner, and it gives you a good overview of the machine's settings.

Unlike with many fax machines and printers, the configuration page for an Okifax 5300 does not display the machine's page count.  For instructions on how to view the page count, see How to get the page count for an Okifax 5300.

• Press the SELECT FUNCTION button, located toward the top of the operation panel (to the right of the display screen).
• On the number pad in the upper right area of the operation panel, press the 6 button (also labeled REPORT PRINT).
• The screen will display "1: ACTIVITY REPORT".  Press the right arrow button (the NO button) on the operation panel three times to scroll through the various reports, until you get to "4: CONFIGURATION".
• Press the left arrow button (YES) to print the configuration report.  "PRINTING" will appear on the screen, and the configuration page will print out shortly.
• Press the STOP button (the red button to the left of the START button) twice to exit out of the menu and return to the main screen.

The configuration page doesn't list every setting but it has many of the most common ones, including whether error correction is turned on, whether an image is printed with the confirmation page, the number of redial tries, and what the volume is set to.

How to print a printer status report from an HP Deskjet 4100 series printer

The printer status report includes a lot of useful information about the printer, such as model name, serial number, service ID, firmware version, network status, ink levels, and page count. To print a printer status report from an HP Deskjet 4100 series printer (for example, a Deskjet 4155e) simply hold down the Cancel button (the button with the red X) for three seconds, then release it. The report will begin printing shortly.

- From the Home screen, tap the dark bar across the top of the screen.

Oki C610 / C711 configuration page

To print a configuration page from an Oki C610 or C711 printer:

- Press the up arrow or down arrow menu scroll button to enter the menu.
- Scroll up or down until you see the Print Information menu.  Press the Enter button to select it.
- Configuration should be the first option; press the Enter button to select it and print out the configuration report.

To print a usage page instead (which includes the page count) scroll down to Usage Report instead of Configuration and press Enter to select it.

Dell B2360dn configuration page

There are several reports you can print from a Dell B2360dn printer, each of which provides you with different information.  To run one of these reports, follow the steps below.

- Press the Setup button (with the wrench icon).
- Press the right arrow button until Reports is displayed.
- Press the OK button.
- Menu Settings Page will be displayed; if that is the report you want to run, press the OK button.  Otherwise, press the right arrow button until either Device Statistics or Network Setup is displayed, then press the OK button.

For network-only information, the Network Setup page is probably what you want.  To see the printer's page count and current toner level, print the Device Statistics page.  To see current printer settings and details, choose the Menu Settings Page.

Canon imageCLASS MF5950dw configuration page

- Press the Settings/Registration button
- Scroll down to Output Reports
- Select OK
- Select Print List
- Select System Manager Data List
- Enter your ID and PIN if prompted
- Select OK
- Select Yes
- Select OK

If you aren't a machine administrator or don't have valid credentials to log in, you can print a user data list instead, which has many of the machine settings but not the network settings:

- Press the Settings/Registration button
- Scroll down to Output Reports
- Select OK
- Select Print List
- Select OK
- Select User Data List
- Select OK
- Select OK
- Select Yes
- Select OK
