On a Sharp AR-208 copier that has the printer option installed, you can print out a configuration page (called the "printer setting list") that includes the machine's page count, IP address and subnet mask, and other network information.
There is a little black button located on the back of the copier, on the left side of the print controller box, just above the USB port. To print the configuration page, press and hold this button for about five seconds. (If the copier doesn't have a print controller, this button won't be there so you won't be able to print a config page.)
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.

ReplyDeletewhat of AR-201 please
ReplyDeleteHi Solomon, the AR-201 is an old model; I haven't seen one around in a long time. If it has the print controller box on the back like the AR-208, look for a black button on there and try holding that down for 5-10 seconds.
ReplyDeleteIf I can find instructions for the AR-201, I'll post them on this site.
Thanks!! We're finally replacing this today but needed the current ip. Worked like a charm
