The supplies status page on many HP printers gives you an estimate of about how much time you have before you'll need to replace your toner cartridge, maintenance kit, or other consumables. To print a supplies status page for a LaserJet 4200, 4250, 4300, or 4350 printer, follow the steps below.
- Press the Menu button.
- Scroll down once so that INFORMATION is displayed on the screen.
- Press the Select button (the one with the check mark on it).
- Scroll down twice so that PRINT SUPPLIES STATUS PAGE is displayed.
- Press the Select button.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
