There are two different pages on the Brother MFC-8710DW that could technically be considered a "config page." The first is the user settings list, which shows a lot of information about the machine and how it is configured (such as printer and fax settings), and the second is the network configuration page, which shows mainly network data such as IP address, DHCP status, etc. The instructions for printing either of these pages are below.
- Press the Menu button
- Press 6 for "Print Reports"
- Press either 4 for "User Settings" or 5 for "Network Config."
- Press the Start button
You can also print either of these config pages remotely, if the MFC-8710DW is connected to your network. On a computer on the same network, open a web browser and go to the printer's IP address or host name. When the Brother web server page loads, click on Lists/Reports on the left hand side. Then click the Print button next to either "User Settings" or "Network Configuration."
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
