The configuration page for a CP5525 includes a lot of useful data, such as page count (called "engine cycles"), calibration info, installed options, and recent error codes and events. If your printer has a JetDirect card, a configuration page for the card will print out along with the machine's configuration page.
To print a config page from the CP5525:
- Press OK to get into the main menu.
- Press the down arrow until "Administration" is the active option.
- Press OK to select it.
- The first option on this screen will be "Reports" -- press OK to select it.
- The first option on this screen will be "Configuration/Status Pages" -- press OK.
- Scroll down to "Configuration Page."
- Press OK. A check mark will appear next to "Configuration Page."
- Scroll back up to the top of the list, to "Print."
- Press OK.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
