The self test/device configuration page for a LaserJet P1606 (or P1606dn) includes a lot of information about the printer. You can see the printer's total page count, network settings, available memory, and serial number.
To print the self test/configuration page, hold down the Resume button (the one with the green icon on it, with the picture of a sheet of paper and an arrow) for about five seconds, until the green LED starts to blink, then let go. The configuration page will print out.
If you let go of the button before the LED starts to flash, a demo page will print out instead of the configuration page.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
