The configuration page for a Color LaserJet 3800 gives a lot of information about the printer. It contains printer settings, page count data (called "engine cycles" and "color cycles"), and network settings, among other things. If the printer has a JetDirect card installed, a JetDirect configuration page will print out as well.
To print the configuration page:
- Scroll down using the down arrow button until "INFORMATION" is the active choice on the screen.
- Press Select (the green button with the black check mark on it).
- Scroll down to "PRINT CONFIGURATION."
- Press Select.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
