The configuration page on an HP 640 fax machine is called a system data report. This report will list many of the machines settings, including error correction mode, number of rings, and resolution. It also shows the machine's total page count, which is not always included on system data reports for other fax machines.
To print the system data report:
- Press the Menu button.
- Use either the right or left arrow to scroll through the menu until "Reports" is displayed.
- Press the OK button (with the asterisk on it).
- Use the right or left arrow to scroll through the menu until "System Data" is displayed.
- Press OK.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
