On the LaserJet 1022 and 1022n, you can print out a self test/configuration page which gives a lot of information about the printer, including network settings, available memory, page count, and much more. To print the configuration page, hold down the Go button (the button with the green diamond on it) for about four or five seconds. Once the green LED starts flashing, let go of the button and the configuration page will print out.
If you let go of the Go button before the LED begins to blink, a demo page will print out instead. This page just describes the printer's features and capabilities; it does not give any information specific to your printer.
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
