To print out a configuration page on a Color LaserJet 4650 printer:
- With the printer on and ready, press the down arrow to enter the main menu. (If the printer is idle or sleeping, you may need to press the down arrow once to wake it up, and then again to enter the menu.)
- In the menu, press the down arrow to scroll through the options until INFORMATION is the highlighted choice.
- Press Select (the green button with the black check mark on it).
- Scroll down again until PRINT CONFIGURATION is the highlighted option.
- Press Select.
The configuration page will print out, with a multi-colored border that will allow you to see if there are any image density problems. The page count (total count and color count) will be included on the configuration page, in the first section (labeled Printer Information).
Printer configuration pages often tell you useful information about a printer, such as its page count or meter, network settings, and toner levels. To find instructions for printing a configuration page, click on the manufacturer's name on the green bar below. To find instructions for viewing an on-screen page count, click the corresponding link on the sidebar. Check back often for updates.
