Dell Laser Printer 1710n configuration page

You can print a configuration page from the Dell 1710n by pressing and releasing the Continue button on top of the printer.  The config page includes a lot of detailed information, including page count, toner and drum status, paper settings, and network setup.

    There are special printers designed to print on plastic cards -- Datacard sells some -- but most standard laser printers would throw a fit if you tried to feed a sheet of plastic or a plastic card through them, and the toner probably wouldn't stick very well.
