It sounds like this company isn't familiar with that model printer. Unfortunately, the printer won't give you an exact count for that toner cartridge. You can try checking the Dell software, but I doubt that will give you more than an estimate of the toner level. (Instructions for seeing the toner levels from either a Windows PC or a Mac start on page 103 of the user guide.)

One thing to check is the "Non-Dell toner" setting. If your toner isn't genuine Dell toner and this setting is set to "Off" that could be why you're getting the indicator to replace the toner. Try enabling that setting (see page 96 of the manual) and rebooting the printer, and see if the status indicator still shows the toner needs to be replaced.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15344808703550376121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7514739380085745859.post-90292786514406229042017-10-07T03:38:16.881-07:002017-10-07T03:38:16.881-07:00Hi Greg, thanks.

However, it wasnt long since I replaced (noted the date on toner). The toner company want to know how many prints I have done, before considering a warranty.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06061204454979181469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7514739380085745859.post-52253329128185692102017-10-06T17:13:27.088-07:002017-10-06T17:13:27.088-07:00The printer itself won't tell you how many pag...The printer itself won't tell you how many pages you've printed since replacing the toner cartridge, but the status lights/indicator will give you some idea of when the toner cartridge is starting to approach end of life.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15344808703550376121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7514739380085745859.post-17896557771283742112017-10-05T21:41:48.578-07:002017-10-05T21:41:48.578-07:00can anyone help... i need to find out how many pr...can anyone help... i need to find out how many prints my Dell 1250c has done since I put a new toner cartridge in.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06061204454979181469noreply@blogger.com
