Updates

Configuration page instructions for the following copiers and printers were added this week:

- HP Officejet 6700 Premium
- Samsung SCX-4720FN
- Xerox CopyCentre C20

HP Officejet 6700 Premium configuration page

To print a configuration page from an Officejet 6700 Premium printer:

- On the Home screen, scroll to the right and touch the Setup icon
- Go down one page and select Reports
- Select Network Configuration Page

Xerox CopyCentre C20 configuration page

The configuration page on a Xerox CopyCentre C20 copier is called a "system data report."  To print the system data report:

- Press the Machine Status button.
- Scroll down to Reports.
- Press the Enter button.
- [System Data] will be the first option displayed -- press the Enter button to select it.

HP LaserJet Pro 400 colorMFP M475dw / M475dn supplies status page

To print a supplies status page from a LaserJet Pro 400 colorMFP M475dw or M475dn:

- Select Settings on the touch screen (the icon with the gear and wrench)
- Select Reports
- Select Supplies Status

Samsung SCX-4720FN Laser MFP configuration page

The instructions for printing a network configuration page from a Samsung SCX-4720FN printer can be found on page B.6 of the user manual, but they are also listed here:

- Press the Menu button until "Network Setup" is displayed on the screen
- Scroll to the right until "Print Net CFG" appears
- Press the Enter button
- Press the Enter button again

HP LaserJet Pro 400 colorMFP M475dw / M475dn demo page

To print a demo page from a LaserJet Pro 400 colorMFP M475dw or M475dn printer:

- Select the Settings icon from the home screen (the icon with the gear and wrench)
- Select Reports
- Select Demo Page

HP LaserJet Pro 400 colorMFP M475dw / M475dn configuration page

The configuration page for a LaserJet Pro 400 colorMFP M475dw or M475dn has a lot of information, and may be multiple pages.  It contains basic network info, fax/print/copy settings, and details about the printer such as serial number, available memory, and MAC address.  To print the configuration page:

- On the touch screen, select the Settings icon at the top of the screen (the one with the gear and wrench)
- Select Reports
- Select Configuration Report

If you're only looking for network information, you can print a network summary page instead of the configuration page.  To print the network summary page, select Network Summary on the Reports menu instead of Configuration Report.

Ricoh Aficio AP410 / AP410N / AP610N configuration page

To print a configuration page from the AP410 series of Ricoh printers (including the AP410, AP410N, and AP610N):

- Press the Menu button
- Scroll down to List/Test Print
- Press the Enter button
- Scroll down to Config. Page
- Press the Enter button

HP Officejet 7000 Wide Format demo page

You can print a demo page, which basically looks like a promotional flyer, from the Officejet 7000 Wide Format printer if you want to test the color quality or image quality.  To print the demo page, hold down the Form Feed button (the one with the icon of a piece of paper and an arrow) for about four or five seconds, then let go.

Fiery E-3300 Color Controller configuration page

To print a configuration page from a printer with the Fiery E-3300 controller installed:

- Go to the Fiery screen on your printer (typically by pressing the Fiery button)
- On the Fiery screen, there are several tabs along the top of the screen -- Main, Job List, Tools, etc.  Select the Fiery tab.
- Select Printable Info.
- Select Configuration.
- Select OK to confirm your choice.

HP Officejet 7000 Wide Format configuration page

The configuration page for an Officejet 7000 Wide Format printer is called a "printer status report" and looks similar to the test page printed out by many other Officejet printers.  It shows the printer's model name and number, network status, total page count, current ink levels, firmware version, and more.  To print the config page, hold down the Cancel button (the button with the red "X" on it) for about five seconds, then release it.

Canon imagePRESS C1+ page count

To view the page count for a Canon imagePRESS C1+ copier, press the Counter Check button on the device's operation panel.  The total page count will be displayed on the screen.

Dell Color Laser Printer 1235cn configuration page

To print a configuration page from a Dell Color Laser Printer 1235cn:

- Press the Menu button (above the OK button)
- Press 3 for System Setup
- Scroll to the right until "Reports" is displayed on the screen
- Press the OK button
- Scroll to the right until "Configuration" is displayed
- Press the OK button

Ricoh Aficio SP 6330N configuration page

To print a configuration page from a Ricoh 6330N printer:

- Press the Menu button
- Scroll down to List/Test Print
- Press the OK button
- Scroll down to Config. Page
- Press the OK button

Dell Color Laser Printer 5100cn configuration page

The configuration page for a Dell Color Laser Printer 5100cn contains a lot of information about the printer.  You can find the total page count (called "impressions"), network settings such as the IP address and MAC address, the Dell service tag, and much more on the config page.  To print the configuration page from a 5100cn:

- Press the Menu button
- Press the down arrow button until "Configure" is displayed on the screen
- Press the right arrow button
- Press the down arrow button until "Reports" is displayed
- Press the right arrow button
- Press the down arrow button until "Printer Settings" is displayed
- Press the Enter button (the round button in between the directional arrow buttons)
