HP Color LaserJet CP4525 usage page

The usage page for a Color LaserJet CP4525 is actually 3 pages long.  The first page is the usage page itself, followed by two pages of paper path and print mode data.  To print the usage pages:

- Press the down arrow button until "INFORMATION" is the active choice on the screen.
- Press OK.
- Press the down arrow until "PRINT USAGE PAGE" is the active choice.
- Press OK.

HP Color LaserJet CP4525 configuration page

To print a config page from the Color LaserJet CP4525:

- Press the down arrow on the printer until "INFORMATION" is displayed.
- Press OK to select it.
- Press the down arrow until "PRINT CONFIGURATION" is displayed.
- Press OK.

Ricoh Aficio MP 4001 / MP 5001 configuration page

To print a config page from an MP4001/MP5001:

- Press the User Tools/Counter button
- Select Printer Features on the touch screen
- Select Config Page

Note that if the machine doesn't have printing capability (ie. if it doesn't have a print/scan kit installed) you won't be able to select Printer Features and print out the config page.

Ricoh Aficio MP 4001 / MP 5001 page count

To view the page count on your Aficio MP4001 or MP5001, press the copier's User Tools button, then from the touch screen select Counter.  The total counter will be displayed.  You can also print out a hardcopy of the page count by selecting Print on the screen and then pressing the Start button.

To print a configuration page (called a "user settings list") from an MFC-8840D:

- Press the Menu button.
- Press 5 for Print Reports.

To print a configuration page from the Aficio MP W3601 wide format printer:

- Press the User Tools button.
- Select Printer Features on the touch screen.
- Select Configuration Page.

Pitney Bowes 1E20 configuration page

The configuration page for a Pitney Bowes 1E20 printer is called the printer settings page.  This page is actually two pages long.  The first page includes a breakdown of the printer's configuration, such as resolution, interface settings, and fonts.  The second page includes current device status information like the printer's page count, the amount of toner remaining, and the life remaining on the fuser, drum, and other maintenance parts.

To print out the printer settings pages, press the Go button on top of the printer five times in a row.  The orange LED will come on, and the printer settings pages will print out shortly.

Lexmark X204n configuration page

On the Lexmark X204n printer, the configuration page is called a menu settings page.  To print out this page (which includes the page count, basic network settings, and printer configuration settings):

- Press the Menus button.
- Scroll to the right with the arrow key until "Reports" is displayed on the screen.
- Press the check mark button to select it.
- Scroll to the right until "Menu Settings" is displayed.
- Press the check mark button.

Dell Laser Printer 1710n configuration page

You can print a configuration page from the Dell 1710n by pressing and releasing the Continue button on top of the printer.  The config page includes a lot of detailed information, including page count, toner and drum status, paper settings, and network setup.

Xerox Workcentre 7525 configuration page

The configuration report from a Workcentre 7525 gives a lot of description about how the copier is configured, including very detailed network setup data.  To print the configuration report:

- Press the Machine Status button.
- On the touch screen, select the Tools tab.
- Select Configuration Information Pages.
- Select Print Now.

One thing that is not included on the configuration report is the copier's page count.  You can find instructions for finding the page count here.

Xerox Workcentre 7525 page count

On the Workcentre 7525, you can see the page count directly on the screen.  To view the page count (called "impressions") press the Machine Status button, and then select the Billing Information tab.

Dell Photo All-In-One 966 settings list

The closest thing you can get to a config page from the Photo All-In-One 966 printer is a settings list.  To print out the settings list:

- From the main screen (with the copy, scan, and other options) scroll down until you come to Setup.
- Press the check mark button to select it.
- Scroll down until you get to Print Settings List.
- Press the check mark button again.

Sharp MX-M623N configuration page

The configuration page on many Sharp copiers consists of two pages: the configuration report and the system status report.  To print these pages from an MX-M623N:

- Press the System Settings button on the copier's operation panel.
- From the options on the screen, select List Print (User).
- Under the "Printer Test Page" heading is a drop-down menu; select NIC Page.
- Select Print.

You can view the total counter for an MX-M623N by simply pressing and holding down Copy on the machine's touch screen.  The page count will be displayed, along with an estimate of how much toner is left.

Xerox Workcentre Pro 645 page count

On the Workcentre Pro 645, you can't view the machine's page count on-screen, but you can see it on a printout.  To see the page count, first flip up the plastic cover that sits over the quick dial keys (there is a tab to grip on the right side of the cover).  The keys are grouped into different sections -- look for the section labeled "Reports" and press the first key in that category (labeled "Activity").  The activity report will print out, listing the number of pages printed out, the number of pages scanned in, and the current drum counter.

HP LaserJet 9050 usage page

You can print a usage page from a LaserJet 9050 by following these steps:

- Press the down arrow button until "INFORMATION" is the active choice on the display screen.
- Press the Select button (the green button with the check mark on it).
- Scroll down until "PRINT USAGE PAGE" is displayed.
- Press Select.

HP Color LaserJet 3600 supplies status page

To print a supplies status page from a Color LaserJet 3600:

- Press the Menu button.
- "INFORMATION" will be displayed -- press the Select button (the green button with the check mark).
- Scroll down until "PRINT SUPPLIES STATUS PAGE" is displayed on the screen.
- Press Select.

HP LaserJet P1005 page count

Since it doesn't have a display screen, you can't view the LaserJet P1005's page count directly from the printer.  In order to see the page count, you'll need to look in the print driver properties (or print out a configuration page, which is also found under the print driver's properties).

To view the page count for a P1005 in Windows, right click on the print driver and select Properties.  (In some versions of Windows, you may need to select Printer Properties instead.)  Then go to the About tab in the Properties window.  The printer's page count will be displayed under the "Configuration Status" heading.

To print a supplies status page from a Color LaserJet 3800:

- Scroll down (using the down arrow button) until "INFORMATION" appears on the screen.
- Press Select (the green button with the black check mark).

The configuration page for a Color LaserJet 3800 gives a lot of information about the printer.  It contains printer settings, page count data (called "engine cycles" and "color cycles"), and network settings, among other things.  If the printer has a JetDirect card installed, a JetDirect configuration page will print out as well.

To print the configuration page:

HP Deskjet 6122 demo page

Many HP printers print out demo pages, which is just a quick way to test the printer's print quality (and color quality, for color printers).  To print a demo page from a Deskjet 6122, press and hold the Resume button (the button with the icon of a piece of paper and an arrow on it) for several seconds, and the demo page will begin printing out.

HP Color LaserJet 3500 configuration page

On the Color LaserJet 3500, the configuration page has colored boxes and lines around the border, so you can check the image quality of the printer.  The configuration page also tells you information about the printer, such as its page count, recent logged events, calibration data, and paper tray settings.  To print the configuration page:

- Press the down arrow button on the printer's operation panel.
- Keep pressing the down arrow button until "INFORMATION" is the highlighted option on the display screen.
- Press the Select button (the green button with the white check mark on it).
- Press the down arrow button until "PRINT CONFIGURATION" is displayed.
- Press Select.

A supplies status page from the Color LaserJet 3500 shows how much toner is remaining for each color cartridge, as well as the status of other maintenance parts.  To print a supplies status page:

HP 640 Fax

The configuration page on an HP 640 fax machine is called a system data report.  This report will list many of the machines settings, including error correction mode, number of rings, and resolution.  It also shows the machine's total page count, which is not always included on system data reports for other fax machines.

To print the system data report:

- Press the Menu button.
- Use either the right or left arrow to scroll through the menu until "Reports" is displayed.
- Press the OK button (with the asterisk on it).
- Use the right or left arrow to scroll through the menu until "System Data" is displayed.
- Press OK.

Canon CFX-L4000 report

To print a report from the Canon CFX-L4000 fax machine:

- Press the Function button.
- Press the 09 button on the right hand keypad for "Report."

Dell All-in-One 946 test page

On Dell's desktop 946 printer, you can print out a test page that can be used for adjusting or checking color quality, alignment, and image density.  The test page also includes useful information about the printer, such as page count, serial number, and the last error code logged.

To print the test page:

- Press the side arrow button on the printer until "Maintenance" is the active choice on the screen.
- Press the OK button (it has the check mark on it).
- Scroll to the side until "Print Test Page" appears.
- Press OK.

Konica Minolta bizhub 7222 configuration page

The configuration page for a KM bizhub 7222 lists print settings as well as device settings.  It shows the number of PCL pages that have been printed, but it doesn't display the copier's total page count.  (To find out how to see the page count, either on the screen or on a printout, click here.)

To print the configuration page:

- Press the Print button on the copier's operation panel.
- On the touch screen, select Printer Set.
- Touch OK on the screen to select the first option, "1. Test Print Menu".
- Touch the 3 button on the screen (below the menu) for "3. Config. Data".
- Touch OK.

Konica Minolta bizhub 7222 page count

To view the page count for a KM bizhub 7222, press the Counter button (the one labeled "123," located on the left side of the operation panel just below the main power button.  The Total Count will be displayed on the screen, as well as the Printer Count and Scan Count.  (If you need this information in hardcopy form, select the Print option on the touch screen to get a printout with the counter on it.)

Sharp AR-M350U page count

Like with many Sharp copiers, you can quickly view the total page count for an AR-M350U by pressing and holding down the Copy button.  (This method only works from the main screen.)  An estimate of the amount of toner remaining will also be displayed.

HP LaserJet P2015 supplies status page

On the LaserJet P2015, the supplies status page prints out along with the configuration page (and network configuration page, if the printer is networked).  To print these pages, hold down the Go button (the green button on top of the printer) for about five seconds, then let it go.

Xerox FaxCentre 2218 config page

On the FaxCentre 2218, you can print out a system data list which gives a good breakdown of the machine's settings.  To print the system data list:

- Press the Machine Status button
- Scroll down until "Reports" is displayed on the screen
- Press Enter
- Scroll to the right until "System Data" is displayed
- Press Enter


Note that the machine's page count is not displayed on the system data list.  If you want to see the page count, print out a counter report instead.  (Select "Billing/Counters" from the Reports menu instead of "System Data".)

HP LaserJet P2015 demo page

If you just want to check the print quality (or if you want to see information about this printer's capabilities) you can print out a demo page from the P2015 printer.  The demo page shows a line drawing of the printer, and gives details about the printer's features and functions, such as its 1200dpi maximum resolution or its 27 page per minute print speed.

To print the demo page, press the Go button (the green button on top of the printer).  The lights will start flashing, and the demo page will print out.

HP LaserJet P1606 configuration page

The self test/device configuration page for a LaserJet P1606 (or P1606dn) includes a lot of information about the printer.  You can see the printer's total page count, network settings, available memory, and serial number.

To print the self test/configuration page, hold down the Resume button (the one with the green icon on it) for about five or six seconds, until the light starts blinking, then let go.  The configuration page will print out.

If you let go of the button too early, a demo page will print out instead of the configuration page.

HP LaserJet P1606 demo page

You can print a demo page from a LaserJet P1606 by simply pressing the Resume button (the one with the green icon on it).  The printer's demo page includes a black and white illustration of the printer as well as a description of its functions and capabilities.

HP LaserJet 9000 configuration page

You can get the page count for a LaserJet 9000 (as well as other useful information) by printing out a configuration page.  To print the config page:

- Press the printer's down arrow button to bring up the menu.
- Keep pressing the down arrow button until "INFORMATION" is the active choice on the screen.
- Press the Select button (the green button with the check mark on it).
- Press the down arrow button until "PRINT CONFIGURATION" is the active choice.
- Press Select.

HP LaserJet P2035 configuration page

The self test/device configuration page on a LaserJet P2035 is broken down into sections that describe the printer and its status.  Some of these sections include Product Information, Page Counts, Status Log, and Print Settings.

To print the self test/device configuration page from a P2035, hold down the Go button (the one with the green icon on it) for about five seconds or so, then release it.  The config page will begin printing out.

HP LaserJet 1300 configuration page

To print a configuration page from the LaserJet 1300, press the button on the front left side of the printer for about five seconds or so, then release it.  The light will start blinking and then the configuration page will print out.

HP LaserJet P2055 configuration page

On the LaserJet P2055, you can print out a self test/configuration page that gives a lot of information about the printer, including the page count, available memory, paper settings, print settings, and basic network settings.  To print the configuration page:

- Press the down arrow button to bring up the printer's main menu.
- "Reports" should be the first option.  (If you don't see it, keep scrolling down until it appears.)  Press OK to select it.
- Press the down arrow button (or up arrow button) until "Config Report" is displayed.
- Press OK.  The self test/configuration page will print out.

Officejet Pro K550 demo page

If you want to, you can easily print a demo page from an Officejet Pro K550.  This demo page describes the printer and its capabilities, and it also has a small colorful picture of fruits and vegetables that demonstrates its print quality.  To print the demo page, hold down the Resume button (the button with the icon of a piece of paper and an arrow on it) until the printer's lights start blinking.

HP LaserJet 1012 demo page

To print a demo page from a LaserJet 1012, simply press and release the green button on the printer.  The demo page (which just gives a basic description of the printer and its features, along with a picture of the printer and a picture of a zebra) will print out.

Xerox Phaser 3300MFP network configuration report

The network configuration report from a Xerox 3300MFP gives very detailed network data.  Information listed includes the machine's MAC address, IP address, network firmware version, subnet mask and gateway, and the status of various protocols such as DHCP, EtherTalk, and UPnP.  The machine's fax number will also be displayed, provided it has been programmed in.  (This page does not include the printer's page count.)

To print the network configuration report:

- Press the Menu button.
- Press 4 for Network.
- Press the right arrow button until "Network Info." is displayed.
- Press the Enter button.
- "Print? Yes" will be displayed -- press Enter to print the network configuration report.

Lexmark C500 configuration page

The configuration page on a Lexmark C500 color printer includes the total page count, the status of the toners and other replacable parts, basic network information, firmware version, and other system settings.  To print the configuration page (which prints in black and white):

- Press the Online button (with the green LED).  The LED should turn off when you press it.
- "TestMenu" will be displayed on the screen.  Press the OK button (with the check mark on it) to select it.
- Use the side arrow to scroll through the menu until "ConfigPage" is displayed.
- Press OK to select it.  The configuration page will print out.

If you want to view detailed network settings, scroll through the test menu to "NetConfigPage" instead of "ConfigPage" and then press OK.

HP Officejet Pro K550 self test/configuration page

The self test/configuration page for an Officejet Pro K550 includes the printer's total page count, firmware version, and serial number (plus a lot of other text).  To print this page out:

- Hold down the Power button (with the printer already on)
- Press the Resume button (the button with a piece of paper and an arrow on it) four times
- Release the Power button

HP LaserJet 1150 configuration page

On the LaserJet 1150, you can print out a configuration page by holding down the button on the left side of the printer for three or four seconds.  Hold the button down until the lights begin to blink, then let go of the button and the configuration page will print out.

HP LaserJet P1005 self test/configuration page

Unlike most LaserJets, you can't print a configuration page directly from the P1005 itself.  You have to do it through the print driver instead.  To print a self test/configuration page in Windows:

- Open the Printers app in the Control Panel.  (In Windows 7, you can click on Devices and Printers on the Start menu to get there.  In Windows Vista, you can type "printers" into the Search bar and select the app from the results.  In Windows XP, click on Control Panel from the Start menu and then open the Printers app.)
- Right click on the LaserJet P1005 icon, and select Printing Preferences.
- Click on the Services tab.
- Under the "Print Information Pages" heading, choose Config Page from the drop down menu.
- Click Print.

The P1005's configuration page lists the printer's total page count, number of jams, amount of available memory, recent error codes, and other useful information (such as average job size).

Fiery E-3200 configuration page

To print a configuration page (which is actually 3 pages long and includes detailed network settings, calibration data, and a system log) from a printer with a Fiery E-3200:

- Press the Fiery or Fierydriven button on the printer (or access the Fiery settings however that printer is set up)
- On the screen, select the Fiery tab along the top
- Select Printable Info
- Select Configuration
- When asked to confirm, select OK
